On 17 November 2021, CHINA LONGYUAN POWER GROUP CORPORATION.LIMITED (“ Longyuan Power”,stock code: 0916.HK) merger by absorption through share swap of Inner Mongolia Pingzhuang energy  Co., Ltd ("Pingzhuang Energy", stock code: 000780.SZ) was approved by the M&A and Reorganization Committee of the CSRC. Jia Yuan acted as the legal counsel to Citic Securities Co., LTD., the financial adviser of the transaction, and provided legal services for this absorption merger project.

Longyuan Power is currently the world's largest wind power operator. It  intends to further promote the intensification of internal resource allocation and the synergy of business development through this transaction. It will also give full play to the advantages of the whole industry chain in related fields, highlight the development of relevant advantageous industries, enhance the value creation level of the company, to consolidate and enhance the industry leading position and international competitiveness of Longyuan Power. Jia Yuan acted as the legal counsel to Longyuan Power 's H-share listing in 2009. In this transition, as the legal counsel to the financial adviser,  Jia Yuan will continue to provide legal services for the return of Longyuan Power to the A-share market.
