Representative Deals
- Mr. WANG Bin’s field of legal services focus on fund raising and investment, asset securitization and derivative, M&A and IPO where he has accumulated a wealth of experiences. He currently holds a PRC practicing license, securities practicing qualification, funds practicing qualification, CFA level II, and is also a CIIA candidate. In the area of fund raising, he has represented over a dozen well-know domestic and overseas GPs in setting up more than 60 funds, with the funding amount totaling in an excess of RMB 110 billion. The types of funds include PE/VC, industry funds, buyout funds, FOFs, primary funds, link funds, etc. and the forms of funds include corporate funds, contractual funds, LP funds and various innovative combination of funds. In addition to representing GPs, he has also represented various types of LPs (including insurance companies, listed companies, state-owned enterprises, asset/wealth management companies, etc.) on investing in domestic and overseas funds. Mr. WANG Bin is also proficient in improving the internal performance incentive system as well as the corporate governance of domestic private equity companies. In the area of investment and financing, he has represented investors and enterprises on private placements and public market financings that involved several companies in industries such as AI, medical care, new energy, ITFIN and TMT. In the area of asset securitization, Mr. WANG Bin has represented original right holders or program administrators on the issuance of dozens of asset-backed security products such as ABS, ABN, quasi-REITs in Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, INTEROTC and National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors. The assets include trust beneficiary rights, account receivable, rental income and the right to charge tuition fees, etc.. Mr. WANG Bin’s clients include GGV, Warburg Pincus, CITIC Capital, DT Capital Partners, Haitong Leading Capital, Shanghai SIIC, Shanghai Chengding, Noah Wealth, Gopher Asset, Ping An Trust, Ping An Life Insurance, China Insurance Investment, and Ping An Leasing, etc.
