Representative Deals
- Litigation and Arbitration：Represented a real estate company from Yunnan in a RMB 430 million lawsuit on complex loan agreement dispute against its original major shareholder；Represented an investment company in a RMB 300 million lawsuit on equity buyback dispute against the actual controller of a famous organic food company; Defended a famous entrepreneur from Wenzhou in a RMB 320 million lawsuit filed by a listed company from Wenzhou on performance betting dispute; Defended the controlling shareholder of a listed company in a RMB 180 million arbitration initiated by a private fund on equity income right buyback dispute；Defended a major state-owned company in 37 lawsuits filed by a commercial bank on pledge contract disputes involving an amount of more than RMB 300 million; Represented a well-known Chinese internet security company’s three subsidiaries in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Cayman Islands in a USD 150 million lawsuit filed by a Singapore company on copyright license agreement dispute; Represented a curtain wall subcontractor in a RMB 170 million arbitration against the employer on construction contract dispute and defended it from the employer’s counterclaim.
- Trade Secrets Protection: Represented a world-leading chemical company in an infringement of technical secrets lawsuit, in which all of the client’s claims, including stop of infringement, destroy of equipment, compensation for damages (RMB 201.54 million) and compensation for legal fees, and the application for injunction, have all been supported by the court；Providing trade secrets protection service for startup companies, including building trade secrets protection system, conducting internal training, managing list of trade secrets, handling trade secrets protection risks and updating the protection system, etc.
- Security Compliance and Security Litigation：Defended a security company (financial consultant for major asset restructuring) in securities misrepresentation lawsuits filed by investors, in which the court ruled the security company was only jointly and severally liable to the extent of 20% and the investors’ claims were deducted of 20% systematic risk；Defended a listed company in a RMB 247 million securities misrepresentation lawsuit filed by a Mr. Sun, whose claims were all dismissed as the court found there was no transactional causation；Defended the directors, supervisors and senior management of listed companies in several major information disclosure violations hearings before CSRC and obtained the result of no administrative punishment or reduced punishment.
